He was good tonight, probably the best player on the field with Neville just behind him.

I want to see how Jelavic / Anichebe would work, Vic tends to drop back a bit now and win the ball for us. Jelavic would love that as he can stay in the box a bit more.

The problem is Fellaini would have to be dropped back into a more defensive role, and he doesn't seem too keen on doing that at the present moment.

Vic did ok tonight, Jelavic didn't improve us when he came on for me.

I think we have to stick with Vic on Saturday.

Was better than the rest but that's not saying much, having said that good assist, could of had a pen and his delivery to Naismith's head was peach.
Has improved enough to change my mind from genuinely disliking and having my heart sink whenever I saw him, to thinking he should be given another chance on the weekend.

I loved his effort when he had his back to goal, held the ball up and then set himself up for a far corner drive with his left foot, it looks simple but it's a hard skill to master and he's done it very well two games on the bounce, well in Victor lad.

The ball he chipped to the back post was a peach of a cross - pity Naithsmith who had a poor game should never have played on a sodden pitch with those dodgy knees - a bad day at the office, but Victor did all he could with no service untill the last 15 minutes made the goal for Distan as well so he just has to keep his form going - he his looking good as a good all round striker at the moment!

Agreed. He's made this look easy, IT AIN'T. He's also quite good at bringing others into play with his back to goal, at the moment anyway.
