He'll do one or two good things a game, however this year that one good thing has often resulted in a goal. Wigan seemed to be scared to death of him.

Vic at least stays on his feet now, funny how Jelavic is now doing what Vic used to do and flopping to the ground time and time again looking for pens.

i personally think its yakubu-syndrome, i heard its contagious.

Considering picking Fellani is a no brainer, I'm starting to think that Vic will be a better choice than Jela and Cahill (who you know is coming in Jan).

He was just Victor.

I've not been able to get to the game in a while and have been watching streams (living in NYC) and I was starting to get annoyed with Jelavic not scoring like. I will say this - he works his balls off running all over the place. Whether he should be doing that or just waiting to slot is another argument, but Victor would do well by taking a leaf out of his book. Not going down like a bag of s****, though. Just working hard.

He was atrocious today IMO

He was feeding on scraps , but was a nusiance value his through ball to Jelly in the 2nd half was the best through ball on the ground all day - Jelly made a mess of it but TBH with the midfield set up the pair of them had very little service other than hoof balls!
Gibson & Hitz were two similar in the first half & played far too deep - Osman made the diference at the start of the 2nd half we played ugly & won in the past we have played very well & drew????

I don't think he was lazy at all. In fact I think he wrongly runs himself into the ground most games he starts (why I like him as a sub much better) He's almost 250lb and no human being that size can go all out and still have energy late in the game to game to get a step off/jump higher than a defender. Wigan seemed to be more worried about him than anyone and he commanded quite a few double teams.
