I need to see it again, but his chance late on... I thought he was very unlucky.

He's a better finishing touch away from being a class lone striker. This is why we stuck with him.

Yeah, he's a good player but he needs more composure. Gone off the boil a bit in finding the net, of late.

You want a striker who'd finish one of the two or three chances he made for himself near the end.

If he keeps playing the way/style he is, Kev will finish a lot of rebounds...or Jela, if he stops pushing so wide.

He's not even 25 yet. I know strikers tend to mature and peak earlier than other positions but it's still relatively young. He could turn into a very good player.

looking very promising, id start him over jelly...never fought id say that but he deserves his place

Exactly. His fitness has improved no end. 2 seasons ago he was having a shocker against Bolton and stopped running.

Id have to say so too. Jelavic looks likes he's completely forgotten how to play football. He gets tackled easily, he can't beat a player...

Ill admit he got into some good positions that he shouldve been played into, but his all round game isn't up there with vics at the moment

He deserves his place, but he's not better than Jelavic overall, imo. Still has to stop makin' the wrong final choice, for me. I know Jelavic was guilty of the same thing today, but he at least made their keeper work. Victor could've played Jelavic in earlier on rather than havin a go himself.
