Villa Request Everton Postponement

It'll be nice to have some players back before we play another league game, but as others have said, the fixture pile-up at the end of the season will make any injuries picked up by then more costly in the same way that the Christmas congestion made the Allan, Digne and James injuries more costly.

It's also a massive assumption with Everton that we'll even get through the next two weeks without picking up injuries, even with no games. Over the next 4 months we'll get loads.

If we're expecting a serious pile-up near the end of the season, I would like to see another player come in this month for cover as it'd be a shame for a good season to hit the skids at the end due to an injury crisis landing at the same time as the fixture congestion.

...supermarkets can endanger the well being of strapping lads in their 20s and is being proscribed, and yet Asda is the ideal place to send the elderly and vulnerable for a vaccine.

Who'd have thought?

Don't know where that is happening Dave, certainly not where I live.

It’s a place, not the only place. It would be to help distribute the vaccine roll outs faster as larger Asda stores have in house Pharmacies. Boots will be another retailer that will be a vaccine hub

It’s a massive result for us.

We only have the cup game between now and Leicester at the end of the month, and our full squad should be back by then.

Even Gbamin will be fit to play by then!

We need to be taking it easy and avoiding any unnecessary injuries over the next two weeks though.

Not being funny but we were told he would be fit by November and it’s just been radio silence since then. Suspect something is seriously wrong behind the scenes with this one.

When you consider the way these matches are being postponed and us now being on the receiving end of two of them, both at short notice and clearly more of an advantage to the covid infected opposition than us, Everton would have every right to request that Doucoure's 1 match suspension be saved to occur when they actually play the match that he should have served it in i.e Villa as it is blatantly another disadvantage to Everton having him missing against the better team i .e Leicester.

Get on to them blues Hierarchy. They are making the rules up as they go so lets have one that is fair to us too.

I personally think they're taking their time with him rather than risking anything, but who knows?!

Makes sense but it's EFC
