It's like John Stones at us. The side may be comparatively rubbish, but the quality stands out.

He had a bad game but he doesn't most of the time. Celtic tonight were rubbish from back to front, not just Van Dijk.

All that said, I don't think we'll sign him anyway - we'll get Funes Mori and some other crap like Evans.

I dunno. He might be alright. I just don't see how people can tell when he's so rarely tested.

You're right though. Nailed on to those sh*ts at Southampton isn't he?

Well look at Yarmolenko. Same sort of thing - terrible league but he's obviously a very good player.

Van Dijk stands out in a similar (albeit substantially lesser) way.
