you would like to think Southampton would show some pride and balls and refuse flat out to sell to the RS regardless of how much they offer but we all know whats going to happen.

They could do what we did with stones, they may look at the situation and think he may strop for a month but eventually he would get his head down, surely after missing the last 6 months he wants to get back playing.

Are Holland in with a good chance of qualifying?

Southampton also know they would get big money next summer, will be interesting to see how it plays out, the longer it goes the more difficult it would be for Liverpool i guess. Unless they throw a fortune at Southampton late in the window.

worst part of it is, after all the rule breaking, the blatant tapping up, unsettling of the player - when the deal goes through (and we all know it will) that lot will be praised for their tenacity and determination to land their man and the heavily Kopite biased media will declare them champions in waiting. They will have done the best business in the summer and Klopps a genius.

This. After this I will hate Saints and much as that lot of Red S*****. And FA will lose credibility.

but i love this, every year their fans lap it up and actually believe it and yet again they'll get absolutely nowhere near. They'll finish around 7th this season, easily. The only thing that will save them is if our team doesn't gel quickly.

the pressure of expectation of their fans lost them the title a few years back.
