We didnt spend £17mil on him....

Up to £17 mil including all clauses was the fee.

Its like saying Patterson was £16mil. If he hits all clauses then it will go from £11mil up to £16mil.

Dele didnt cost £40mil...he was free with clauses taking it to potentially £40mil.

Iwobi didnt cost £35mil unless clauses were achieved.

Richarlison didnt cost £50mil unless clauses were achieved.

Same with Mykolenko...only difference is we dont know the fee without clauses.
Digne cost £18m including add-ons, though?

It's still a lot regardless for where we are, when Everton had no need to buy a LB other than Benitez bombed him out.

Mykolenko just looks a poor player to me. He's not strong, not particularly quick so that doesn't get him out of trouble. He looks nervous in the extreme, which is understandable.

He's good at keeping hold of the ball but as the numbers from Kyiv suggest he's not exactly great at doing much with it service wise.

I'm sure he'll improve in time and he needs a run in the team because he's the only LB. But I bet if we stay up that Lampard will want another option to rotate at the very least

Not sure why he’s being judged after how many starts for us?

Let’s at least see how he goes next season after he’ll have had the end of this season to get used to the intensity of the league

It’s been so long since we developed a player mate, think most have forgotten that we can actually do it.

He surprised me yesterday, there was one occasion he turned the afterburners on, he has pace, he doesn’t always use.
