I think it’s looking like some really resent him for being Digne’s replacement and will never give him a chance

and the other thing to take into consideration and not to forget is that Digne was not very good for the last 18 months. This lad is young and come to a new league not playing for a while so we have to give him the chance he deserves

It is ludicrous how Digne has suddenly acquired a host of admirers since he left. They were singularly quiet when he was here having a long run of mediocre form. It was an opportunity for a few posters to go as far as write off Mykolenko before he has had a chance to adapt and prove himself.

….I think it’s fair to have an opinion or voice a concern but it doesn’t mean anybody is writing the lad off.

Personally, I was concerned as soon as I saw his movement even though he looked fast and powerful in the YouTube clips. I’d never write him off but I have to admit to having concerns.

I’d be absolutely chuffed if he kicks on and becomes a top player for us. Really like the look of Patterson, very surprised he’s not seen any game time under two managers.

Weve only see him when he was in the middle of a 2 month break.

Imagine our players going on holiday and booked into resorts for June and July...

...then suddenly they have to come back and have 2 or 3 days training before a match.

As thats what happened to him.
