He did t get any help whatsoever to be fair from Gray. But yes, I agree, I don’t think he’s good enough.

Aye, Gray was poor today. However, I suspect Gray was one of those who didn't trust him due to some of the hospital balls he gave him and Vitalii's terrible touch.

I've defended the lad more than most over the time, but today was beyond the pale.

Benitez really fked us with this business, can't believe the board let him do that with digne to them sack him days later. This board deserves multiple relegations

Digne had been playing poorly for quite some time. He also wasn't particularly happy at the club. The problem wasn't him as such it was that we did not replace him with someone 'prime Digne.' We quite clearly took a punt on an unproven player in the hope we could improve him. All very noble but in the final analysis it's been a poor buy.

A dreadful, dreadful performance. It appeared to me as if the other players were unwilling to pass to him at times, as they knew he was a liability.

I think they're conscious he doesn't actually want the ball. He's so aware of his limitations he just wants to get through the 90 minutes as quietly as possible.

He was awful defensively when he was on loan at Cardiff so I wouldn’t count your chickens!
