No intimidation at all from the lad. Super tough. Was it two seasons ago now where he got his head slashed and kept playing a few matches after that with the head band. He plays his heart out for the badge .

It's not a case of competition. We just need a new full back who is comfortable on the ball that can start every game apart from two a year when we're up against Salah.

Defensively he very was good. You can see though why we have struggled mightily on the attacking side this year. We rely on Ndiaye to beat 30 players and we don't have a crosser without McNeil in the side. The service in some ways has gotten worse under Moyes because our only players that can get the play going are injured. It's either through balls galore from behind the halfway line or maybe Charly can cook something. And those through balls only work because Beto can actually reach them and outmuscle the defenders. We really need fullbacks in the summer dude. And we need our guys healthy for a start.
