Yes because they’re awful and it’s been happening for too long putting up with terrible players, even with the likes of Holgate who’s actually still our player and barely gets a game with West Brom should of been gone years ago. Tom Davies another one who should of been long gone again in the championship that’s about their level and that’s about Mykolenkos level as well he’s awful and happy for a game to pass him by because he also knows his limitations in this league.

Thought he’s done well against Saka today really.
He’s one of the best wingers in the league, been reasonably well contained imho.
Of course he’s going to get free occasionally but he’s a £80m+ winger.

Lost his balance and got beaten once, but he was flawless defensively apart from that. Very good clearances at the near post.

When his job is simply to defend on the ground against top wingers, there genuinely aren’t many better in the league. When he’s not carrying a knock of course, which I think he often is. If he was awesome at bombing forward as well we couldn’t afford him.

Maybe a new boss will give him the confidence to overlap?? Who knows.

This. Surely people understand this. He was fantastic today. He hasnt been great, but for the best part had Saka, who is world class, in his pocket. So lets give him the praise he desrves
