August 2020 was the 2nd time he was linked, previously was in April/May of the same year. Thats why i know of him and noticed his name so took some interest whenever it popped up.

The transfer makes sense due to his profile, potential, age and the scarcity of top young left backs.

It would make sense for FFP if we sold Digne, not even for "top dollar".

Who did he sign, for £10-15m above market value, that a manager of ours didn't want but he himself wanted?
 

at first I didnt understand why he was sold to Everton practically at market value, until I learned about the connection between Everton and Alisher. now I am pretty sure that in addition to this money, another 10 million unofficially went to the surkis's pocket. it's not about just friendship.
