I think it is a bigger worry if Moshiri caves to fan pressure and ends interest in VP. I would hope that we have an owner who has courage in his own convictions. If Moshiri believes VP to be the right man, appoint him. Fans right now, would not be unanimously happy with any appointment. He is less divisive than Benitez, but more divisive than other possible appointments like Lampard. But whoever is appointed there would be reservations and would not be loved by all. That is how the club is right now.
If Moshiri believes VP to be the right way to go, he should do it. The second he crumbles to fan pressure (which he didn't do when it was more intense with RB), he loses what little credibility he has left.
