I don't see anything wrong with what he's said. He wants to play for Real Madrid and Real Madrid has been linked with him a number of times just like us.

a loan (of course) is being mooted.

I'd rather not have a player join us as second choice.

The reality may well be that most players would sooner go to real madrid than everton, but they don't normally say it in the media, in the hope of precipitating a transfer.

Well he's probably keeping his options open like any player would. We are not in pole position and we haven't agreed a fee with his club. He can talk about any club he wants.

If we where in line to sign him then he probably wouldn't say "I want to join Real Madrid" but that's not the case. He's a CSKA Moskow player and he's probably a very ambitious player, he wants to player for the best team possible.
 
£12m, come off it it isn't even April 1st is it. unless it was agreed in January it's just unrealistic because we haven't got any money according to DM and Round only yesterday
 
We won't be spending 12 million until we find a buyer for the club.

Obviously people aren't arsed as Kenwright sat in the boys pen like.
