besides, even if Jo was supposed to be better, should Everton just forget about Vagner if they can indeed acquire him?

He's just telling the truth to be honest. In Europe and in world football we are not seen as a big club. Domestically we are a big club.
 
I dont think we are considered a big club at home either anymore, we are described as plucky Everton a club with a rich history, but we arent considered a big club, hence the shock in outsiders eyes when we finished 4th.
