Seen worse at the TT tbh and guys have come back from it, those bike racers have balls of steel mate.

Ha yer mate those fellas are a different breed to be fair to them. I’m not doubting the viciousness of some of the accidents there. It’s just that particular one looks like really bad special effects. The second view of it is so jumpy and glitchy. Even the 1st view of it doesn’t seem natural. Regardless those onboard cameras give you a real sense of the speeds they’re travelling at. I can imagine being there as they go past but it’s not till you see how they’re perceiving it and the reflexes they need to manoeuvre the bikes do you realise how incredible it is and how inevitable that somebody is going to die

Possibly mate, I do agree it is a slightly glitchy video. I remember a guy a few years back from the TT who lost control on a corner at 160mph and got thrown down the side of a hill like a ragdoll and ended up with a broken back, dislocated shoulder, and a damaged knee and the next year he was back racing again.

Don’t get me wrong I bet it’s an incredible rush doing it but if you’re in a crash and that’s best case scenario rather then death imagine how little regard you’d have to have for the rest of your family’s life to risk that and have them being your full time carers

Yeah there is a darker side too it no doubt about it mate, I think its something like 269 deaths in all the years its been running. Famous riding families like the Dunlops have lost numerous members to accidents, defo a selfishness to it somewhat but I bet its bloody fun though.
