Want to post something but there isn't a thread that quite fits - thread

Think ive discovered a wasp nest in the shed in the back yard, loads of the little buggers keep coming and going. Missus thinks im taking that shed down at some point, Missus is utterly deluded if im going anywhere near it.
There was a wasp nest in the ivy on the side of our house, both hubby and I shied off doing anything about it for weeks as not only did it mean attacking a wasp nest but doing it half way up a ladder added an additional frission of fun.

Eventually we both suited up in near hazmat like outfits to try to deal with them only to find that ants had swarmed the nest and finished the job for us - haven’t poured boiling water on any ants nests since, if I have to choose a side of ants vs wasps it is the ants every time!

Having seen the movie - I'd have to disagree.

Bunch of chancers to a BBC reporter: our system will use two way batteries on electric cars to store energy for the power grid for when it's needed.

BBC news tells the nation- wow, amazing, how exciting is the future, can't wait.

Chrismpw spitting his tea across the table in exasperation - so it unexpectedly leaves your car with less range than you might expect, while simultaneously eating its way through your expensive battery's cycling life for the benefit of a private power business? And this we're told, by a presenter/reporter clearly lacking any scientific training at all is a good idea?

The news editors met and decided to run with this utter bubbles.

Come on beeb - if you can pay Jonathan Ross way too much, you can afford to hire insightful reporters or better still , scientists with the necessary expertise please.

I got a pressurised butane aerosol can...lit the spray and hit the wasp nest with a mini flame-thrower. A couple of the nasty beggars got me from behind, but I fried 99% of them...german they were...german wasps.

Working in Mablethorpe today. Never been here before. The constant driving rain has rendered my goretex gear porous. I’ve just purchased some crusty rolls and Polish ham-type meat (sopocka) from Lidl. Crumbs all down my top, now back into the rain.
