Warming Plates !

Complete with a tea towel, to wrap the food, that`s already been wrapped up, on the plate you took with you.

I once went out with a girl from Haydock and I was in stitches the first time I saw this in the local chippy.

Don`t get me started on pea wet and scraps, the utter wronguns.

Mate, it was exactly this. I'm not sure if they still do it, but when I worked up there in the early 2000s they did. Don't forget, 'Babies 'ed' too.

It's like the land that time forgot up there, apart from a few good boozers.

It was lovely earlier here, gone a bit overcast now but it felt like the start of the summer this morning. Great feeling.

I warm my coffee cup before I make my coffee. But I make my pour overs at a lowish temperature due to the low roast of my beans so it makes a difference in how long the coffee stays at optimal drinking temperature.

I'm not one of those pretentious knobs who warms up plates though.
