Nuts game this,2-0 up,think we had Sinny Vamways sent off and it ended 2-2,couple of great Everton goals though!!!

Yep macca,was there,funnily enough got no recollection of anything other than limpars goal,our second was a great team goal,I thought samways only goal was in the charity shield!!can remember us going down to ten men and clinging on to a precious point in the end,was it samways redcarded?yep Leicester was always a feisty away,used to go through terraced houses into the away section!! can't remember trouble that day but I am getting oldDid you go this game mate? I have a recollection of the coach in front of mine and an Everton fan climbing out of the roof coach window and absolutely flipping his lid as Leicester fans were taking the piss as the coaches were stationary
I was 16, have no recollection of that 2nd goal (which was boss) but that one of the red cards was a piss take, the ref was out to get us, deffo a seat or 2 flew over my head and some fella off a coach was haply to try and take on about 40 Leicester fans by himself.....bloody hell I was stoned a lot in my teens

Yes, it was Duncan Ferguson was sent off as well. He might have had a few daft red cards, but that one was pretty harsh. I was at that game, he flicked on a header, the Leicester player who was running in from behind him got caught by Dunc's arm as he came down and promptly hit the deck, referee couldn't wait to got the red card out and the Everton end erupted. Samways was stupid, I think (it was a long time ago!) he retaliated to being fouled by one of their players by kicking him, right in front of the ref. I had my own personal escort to the ground , from the coaches copper just latched onto me and wherever I went so did he.
I linked him for a bit for a laugh, he was alright really, just said behave yourself and have a nice day or you will get nicked.
Was there same going back as well.
Leicester only showed up , top of a street and got off as we went towards them, far to many of us to be fair.
Always bits of trouble at Leicester, time before we had gone in there pub, I had met a couple of my mates lads who lived in york, both ex army lad who met local girls and stayed up there, they were big units and crackers.
They were in this pub and about ten of us met them, they stayed on the door like bouncers, I didn't get onto anything .
till I caught sight of a load of lads walking passed , then a few minutes later more of them.
I went up to my mates and said what's the score with this lot.
He said, oh its there pub and we havnt been letting them in.
I said there are only a dozen of us how long do you think this will last.
There are loads of them and more coming all the time.
Well till they get the bottle to do anything just have a pint and get ready.
One of those situations really couldn't leave so had to front it no other choice.
The landlord asked us to leave and the coppers arrived and escorted us through the streets to the ground, surrounded by about 60 to 80 of there lads giving us loads, luckily there were more coppers with us than Everton fans, we just took the piss out of them.
They followed us right to the ground and even as we were queuing up carried on,
Unfortunately we were a bit more free from the coppers and gave them a few digs which they seemed a bit surprised about as nothing came back, I collared some mouthy Asian lad who crumbled as soon as I pulled him towards us and gave him a smack, looked like he was about to cry , don't think that game was for him really , made it worse by shouting at the cops we had hit him, who them smacked him again and told him to f off.
Might explain why I was escorted , thinking about it now.
