"Watch Classic Matches Again"

Yeah,Christ it was nine we were down too,at least strange games like Bournemouth last week have always occurred eh?🤣🤣🤣
There old ground Filbert street always trouble there with that Bridge after the game - nasty bunch at times if we won there only a small ground - I was about 12 & my brother's mate passed me a can of lager - I opened it & it sprayed all over their fans in front of me - they were laughing at it when all his mates pointed it was me as I had disposed of the can on the floor quickly ..... :D

🤣🤣🤣👍

Friend of mine just sent me this, a goal I've never seen before, a smart finish from Andy King to give Everton a 1-0 win at Derby back in 1979.

It was after a long run of not beating them mate. I don't think we had beat them since 1971 so that goal made it all the sweeter

Did you go this game mate? Im certain that some seats got ripped up in the away end and getting chucked as everyone was kicking off over a red card.

The back of that away end was tiny, made Goodisons concourse feel like Wembley 😆
I was there mate.
Rubbish that side bit we were in.
only thing I can really remember was there second goal.
And there pitiful mob that showed up by the coaches , took one look and disappeared when we went up a hill to meet then .
I had my own personal copper escort going to the game and afterwards so was behaving myself, straight off the coach no bother today lads and just walked along with me chatting, if I stopped he did if I tried to get a move on so did he.
At one piont I was about 15 yards in front of everyone , with my shadow.
All the lads were taking the piss out of me saying I had copped off.
Same after the game.
ended up linking him for a laugh 😃
He just took it in good spirits , good policing really.
We had been in the town centre time before , we went by cars
so suppose they wanted to keep us quite.

Remember going early 80s...chased them all over the place after the game...
