The 80th minute Gajdusek goal from Dukla Prague away in 1978 that put us out of the UEFA Cup on away goals. We had been cruising in the home leg too before conceding late on. Terrible error from Dave Thomas. I remember seeing this goal shown on Kick Off on the Friday night.

Only just seen this. I was at the game but got there about 20 minutes past KO. I'd not long moved to woking from liverpool with my job and drove to the game. Awful call. A3 was like a car park. One of those type of games that really tested your loyalty. We'd just had our 2nd daughter. Moved home. Was basically skint but it was just over an hours drive and there was no way i wasnt going. Im not sure id do all that now to go watch mark pembridge and david unsworth lol.
Great to see Super Kev netting a few though.

I have no memory of the game other than the dodgy pub in Russia and that we won.
They used to show a game on Sunday but the family I was staying with didn't have satellite TV so I used to get a video tape off them on Monday. I think the only time we were on was a home defeat to Newcastle.
I saw a lot of Russian football as well but that's for another thread

The best Everton performance I’ve ever seen. That scoreline flattered United, Everton eviscerated them that day.
One weird thing I remember is there were quite a few Celtic supporters in the main stand, who’d decided on mass to come down and watch.
