Watches

that looks really good. Been able to size at your will is a game changer.. will look out for it.
First thing I want to do is change the glass to sapphire crystal. But easier said than done in these neck of the woods

Replacing the mineral glass with sapphire might cost you more than you paid for the watch, just an FYI/warning.

Current watch is a Bulova Curve. Pretty much the most expensive purchase bar my car/house @ about £650 3-4 years ago or so. I love it, its different, feels great on the wrist and have no regrets.

I'm not going to be buying another watch until after my wedding in 2022 & moving to a new house (after the wedding), but next up will be a Rolex Milgauss, possibly a Hublot, but feel like a Rolex will be the way to go.

Bulova don't do nearly enough with their Precisionist (ie 262kHz) movement tech. Having a large seconds hand with that smooth sweep is a feather in their cap they could do much better with, IMO.

I'm really liking the look of this too at the moment..

honestly, the last thing I need to be buying is new watches!
This is the one I was after for ages;

But I went with the Seiko 5 in the end. As nice as it is to have a PADI accredited dive watch, would you bother? You would dive with a comp anyway.

If you don't have one already and are in the Apple ‘ecosystem’ id recommend considering and Apple Watch tbh. Ive got a variety of other watch’s sat around the house gathering dust. Only very occasionally now do i feel like changing to a traditional watch.
Can be dressed up or down with appropriate strap.
That said if you are determined to get a mechanical watch id go with the preloved suggestions already made, esp with a Rolex, you simply will not lose money with a stainless steel one, unlike the high probability of losing money on a £3k Tag or Omega.
Alternatively spend considerable less on on something like a Sinn, Hanhart or similar.

1000m... grief!
Indeed, no one dives to 1000m and if you do, you would likely have a highly legible professional wrist computer, but it's a technical "badge of honor" in the watch industry for companies to make a 1000m dive watch (the company above even makes a 4000m dive watch). It's more about the company's technical ability to make one (a whole different type of technology needs to go into sealing up a watch that can withstand 1000m) rather than if their customers will actually use it for diving. But yeah, 0.01% of people who own a 1000m dive watch will dive to 1000m.
