Watches

Amazing, thanks man!
You'll have to pay some duty/customs tax...probably likely to be more in the UK than in the USA. I payed 186$ in import/custom's tax to get the watch into the country. Just so you know...

The specific model is The Citizen Series 8, 830 mechanical in stainless steel (silver), model #: NA1010-84X. (since there is also a gray/black case model as well)

View attachment 136484On holiday and got a good deal from the AD.. now I’m in justifying mode trying to convince myself I deserve my dream watch.

I loved the blue on my wrist but wife prefers the white.. thinking white on a black strap maybe.. the metal just felt cold and didn’t do it for my tiny wrists..

have 1 day to make a decision!
Two great options. Can’t go wrong either way.
You’re an Evertonian—-you deserve something nice at some point ?

If you go white, I'd buy with the bracelet and shop aftermarket for a strap. If/when you move the watch on, it'll do better with the bracelet.

That said, you're in a nice place right now. Enjoy it!

@BornBlue76 Agreed, always buy it on bracelet (metal band). You can always get several nice after-market straps: rubber, NATO, leather, etc., and then you'll have lots of versatility. I prefer white to blue but only slightly...can't go wrong with either. But if the white dial come with the bracelet and the blue comes with the rubber strap, then it's white dial for me. And you can get used to wearing the bracelet, even if it initially feels heavy.

In fact, this is a totally boss rubber strap that would look great with the white dial.

Here's a blue version of it on one an Omega:

yeah I know you’re right about the bracelet.. adds a bit of cost up front which I wouldn’t mind avoiding ..especially as I know I’ll want to get it on rubber ASAP.

I need a drink :pint2:
