It's a sapphire crystal, so that helps...lord knows what a replacement would cost me though, it's chunky. Experience, after a year or so, tells me chipping the edge of the dome is going to be a bigger issue. No tritium, (X1 Super-luminova); they no longer make this model but here's a link to an old review that has all the specs:

I'm looking at getting another one from them now that I know what I'm getting; was skeptical at first being a small (dare I say boutique/bespoke) co. and not exactly cheap. I'm digging on their new Vortex solar line (2-tone lume, Seiko movement); their lume shots are not BS.
or the Combat B53 'Max Darkness' model, which is on pre-order.
Anyhow, quality product (the kind you can feel), although they're fairly large (40mm+). Most are limited production to 500 or less, my X1 is #78 of 100. No issue suggesting them as someone to take a serious look at, if you like one of their models...admittedly, they can be very "Marmite'y".
