Just had that Million Pound Pawn on ITV. A fella started investing in Rolex watches 6 years ago via the broker, spent £260k over that period and sold them to the same broker for £525k

Rolex, for reasons that are not entirely clear, has had a huge jump in prices/demand over the years, and the company still churns out a limited amount each year. I don't think the trend will continue, but doubling your $$ on Rolex over the last 5 years was certainly possible. It is nearly impossible to get a new 2022 release from Rolex.

While Christopher Ward watches are on our Toffee minds, I'd like to tempt @wm02 into buying this model with another photo of how the dial/bezel changes in the light. If you're gonna get a CW bud, this is one you should definitely consider!

IMO it's trying as hard as it can to be an Omega Planet Ocean.
I see some resemblances (after, it's hard to deviate from the "look" of a dive watch) but the hands, bezel width, date-window location, and lack of helium escape valve are all pretty different.

There are so many watch brands out there, CW flew under my radar for a long time...I only started taking a good look at them in the last 6-8 months or so.
Have a look at their world timer - the lume on it is unbelievable. I’ve got the moonglow despite the fact no one really uses moon phases as complications just because it’s so unusual and the lume on it is better than my seamaster.
Will do. I've noticed that the lume on my model is really really good...way better than my Omega as well.
