Watford Blame Everton

Respect your opinion,Dave, but anyone who expected a quick fix after the shambles the worlds greatest ever centre falf in his own mind left behind is way off the mark. SAm is a highly experienced manager who will identify problems quickly but it takes longer to eradicate these problems. We needed a specialist striker, we got one, and WAlcott is a class above any other on the books apart from an on song fit Rooney. I'm sure he's aware of the defensive problems, but the right players have got to be available at the right price. You can only go so far with coaching....despite Cucos efforts(and give the guy his due, he does his best), the worlds best defensive coach couldn't turn him into a RAy Wilson or Leighton Baines.
He's a one trick pony, steve...and it was a trick we didn't require in the first place. Yes we needed a figure of authority to come in but Moshiri panicked and sold us all short with this appointment.

I think it is rich Watford blaming us for their deterioration. In their statement they say it was a difficult decision to sack their manager, can't have been that difficult they have done it 9 times in less than 6 years. One would think it should be getting easier for them the more practical they get.

They are just deflecting.

They know they made a monument error in not taking the crazy money we offered them for him and the blame game they are playing is to save face with their own fans.

Indeed.

And look at Watford’s record in the four games before we wanted him.....the wheels were already coming off.

yes, I seem to remember a few posters on here saying that he was already floundering at the time. I'm not one for flavour of the month anyway, what he has done to warrant a Premier league job is beyond me.

He looks like a beaten man to me.

I'm shocked by how he's looked and sounded these past few weeks. He clearly is not up to it and he isn't enjoying it. I see no fight or anything remotely that indicates a man fully engaged in his job.

As i have said previously, Sam wasn't my first choice, but i was prepared to back him because he was our manager.

It's not often i agree with you Dave, but you have hit the nail on the head there.

In his previous jobs, his pressers , pre and post match interviews have always been up beat, done with a smile on his face and loads of banter with the journo's.

I haven't seen that from him while he hes been here.

I think you are right, i don't think he wants the job.

I think he only took it because he couldn't resist the big wedge Moshiri offered him.

Absolutely hilarious , just what that plastic faux club deserve.

Turn down £15 mill and 2 months later have to pay Silva compo to get rid.

You couldn't make it up.

Ah well appoint another manager and sack him in 6 months .... par for the course.
