I mean, if this is correct and not some sort of weird mind games ploy, we will be playing an extremely weakened Watford side. Need to take full advantage.

Its not about resting players! Its seeing the bigger picture.

We have 4 games left - two of our players have come off in the last 2 games with cramp/knocks and we have players like DCL, Dele, Allan who can contribute but our fans would rather risk a key player like Richarlison or Gordon playing half fit for one game, getting injured and missing the last 3 just because they think Watford will roll over for us.

Games aint won on paper - losing to Burnley then beating Chelsea, Leicester and Utd should have shown people that.

Watford are down already they have no fear and can just play football and sometimes that can spell trouble - I recall already relegated Sheffield Utd playing King Carlos european chasing Everton off the park beating them 2-0 at Goodison last season.
The only one who might get rested/ rotated call it what you want is Delph, Lampard I suspect will want him kept fit for the Brentford game!
I wouldn’t want to be the one to tell Richarlison he’s not playing against Watford, he’ll be thinking this is a good chance to add to his goal tally. The manager might actually give Gordon a breather, play Richarlison wide and play Rondon?
Oh and by the way Leeds play tomorrow night not tonight;)

….a 4 point gap at this stage will be massive, it’s vital we look to take advantage of Watfords injury situation.

We controlled the game for much of the 2nd half at Leicester, we need to be positive and we need to be confident. We should be better than these.

I think we go as strong as we can. As you say, get the points on the board. There's an outside chance, if we win Wednesday we will be mathematically safe by Brentford anyway, and if we can get 2+ goals ahead players be "rested" during the game.

The caveat is if players feel something, or if Gordon is not 100% and you feel there's a better option than an 80% fit Gordon.

It feels like Watford have completely downed tools, and with loads on injuries are waiting to be beaten. But we need to complete the job.

Getting excited to play a very understrength team, but remembering the FA Cup game against the neighbours u-19’s

Confidence growing amongst the Watford faithful.
I don’t believe that all of the listed players won’t play, I reckon it’s a ploy to encourage us to be complacent.

With that said, if all those players were out, what would their line up be? Surely they’ll struggle to put a competent XI out. Literally everything looks to be going in our favour for this one.

Obligatory 1-0 Watford.

We should win this now 100% they are short on players.

Brought loan players back but not allowed to play them this season.
