Think some rotation within reason is sensible. Allan for Delph makes sense and I reckon Gomes could make up a midfield three. We do struggle to unlock inferior sides and we saw against Brentford in the cup he’s got the quality to do it if we can provide sufficient cover with Allan and Doucoure.

Doing so would also allow us to shift Iwobi up to the front three if Gordon needs a rest (and he’s been looking like he could use one).

Sarr and King gave our defence nightmares at Goodison. I think Dennis scored too.

Those injuries weaken them, but that doesn't mean it will be easy by any means.

I think the lad Kamara in midfield is out with suspension as well, and he's good. I would be interested in signing him.
Well it absolutely SHOULD be. They’re dreadful WITH those players. Sarr and Dennis are the only real quality they have. Not convinced all of those players are ill or injured either. There seems to be a horrible atmosphere around that club from the fans hating the manager, to senior players calling out other players publicly for their lack of effort. I’ll bet most on that absent list have just sacked the game off and can’t be bothered.

Only way we don’t win this game tomorrow, is either a lack of focus, a lack of effort, or both. In which case the players will need dragging over hot coals.

We are odds on to win tomorrow and even money to beat Brentford.

Got to go all out tomorrow for sure.
My niggling concern for Brentford is that most of their players wouldn’t have played in such an atmosphere as they will face at Goodison and may just take it in and enjoy it with no pressure on at all.
