Overall, not bad, not good. Just meh
Dreadful defending from crosses, as always.
Don't think the players actually are, in any way, playing for the manager anymore in the league.
It's been evident for a few weeks
Chelsea was a tough fixture and a good performance. The easy draw made them
Chelsea was a tough fixture and a good performance.
They're not in form but to claim that they're not good defenders is to ignore the numerous years that they were part of a solid defensive unit.
In addition both have also, on more than one occasion, been heralded as the best left back and right back in the league respectively.
Out of form yes, but saying they are not good defender is short-sighted. Personally it's the system at fault that's exacerbating their failings.
Tbh, if, like me, you hadn't changed your vote that game was hardly a game changer. Still can't defend a lead but a draw away to Watford is hardly a disaster. As I said, we're a bit crap, but I'm not going to sack a manager in April when we're mid table and there's a semi to play. Sack him if we lose.Have you changed your vote yet
That's the big question
Erm. If you say so.And so out of character it reeked of revolt
£28m pound striker having season of career so far
14th
Good enough? Not even close
Who is realistically going to want to join a team who finishes just above the relegation zone?
Expensive Names looking for one last payday who know they can demand big wages
You're missing my point: they have both in the past played regularly as part of a defensive setup which was known for being strong and frugal.Yes they are good attacking but I stand by my statement that they are not good defenders. Maybe its the attacking intent that takes away from the defensive abilities.
And so out of character it reeked of revolt
If we lose, it's Martinez's fault, when we win he has nothing to do with it.So when we win it reeks of a revolt, and when we lose it's because the players aren't playing for Martinez and want him gone, so revolt when we win, revolt when we lose.
