If you say so. I look at it a different way.....Lukaku plays when he wants, Baines and Coleman are not good defenders. Jags cannot head a ball under challenge. Barry is too old now and gets leg weary, McCarthy runs around, Cleverly runs around, Ross, Stones, Del are inconsistent but our better players. Kev is good when bothered. The team when all up and running are as good as most but with the inexperience and youthful inconsistencies that is going to be too little at the mo. We now have a chance to buy a few proven players albeit more expensive and still buy potential but have the finances to let those potentially good players be rested at the right time and be introduced a little less until they have ironed out there inconsistencies. Martinez to me is still a brave manager who wants to play a certain way rather than the mentioned teams who will battle and battle to keep PL status knowing they have no hope of challenging. I would rather still be trying to challenge rather than be content with PL status or bragging about 6th and 7th place finishes. Hey ho that's just me. Position isn't the be all end all its the intent that's floats my boat even if its failed.
