Transfer Rumour Wayne Rooney

Oh just my thoughts, no evidence. It just feels like it's gonna happen. Got the record, been on the periphery at Utd for a while, Mourinho prepared to let him go to China which means he's open to discussions from other clubs at least, I can just see it happening on deadline day.
Well we do need someone to play up front if Lukaku gets injured and there's no one here that can really do that, he would be good for 3 years and it would help us massively to get to the next level by just having him around.

If he comes here, then that means he really wants to play here. Because he will have to give up on a LOT OF money as I can't imagine we would give him anything over 100k and that's way less than he is on now and than he can get in China or MLS. And if he wants to play here, that means he should be highly motivated to give us all that is left in him. If he wants to play here, then I want him here. Would be ideal for our current formation next to Lukaku and would be a great person to have around our young players: he is indeed a legendary player. To be honest I really don't know what should be his motivation right now. He can't really achieve anything else in MU and is only a sub there right now. This winter/summer at the latest is probably the last available moment for him to really rebuild the view that is on him here right now.

If he can come here for less than 10 m and 70-80k per week. Then he is welcome.

But. It is not a good look for the new everton to be seen as a team that wants or needs the scraps /cast offs from the big teams.

Would be nice to be linked to more players in their prime playing years rather than under 19 ' potentials' and over 30 ' used to be amazing' players.

It's Wayne Rooney were talking about...of course he would improve us. He's in his early 30's, Would deffo have motivation to grab us by the collar into top 4. He is a legend in the game ( like it or not ). I would deffo have him back...by gones are just that.

I don't want him. Nothing personal. I don't resnet him going for the money all those years ago.

it's football related. He has scored 3 PL goals in the past 11 months !!!! He is finished.
Indeed. Who would we drop from the side that played last weekend? Rooney would have to be a starter most games. As far as I am concerned he would be taking the place of someone with a future.

Look at the goal he scored to break the Charlton record.....a free. A very good free kick but a set piece. He is now too slow to directly and positively impact on games often enough. That is the simple reason why he is now a glorified bench warmer at Old Trafford. There'll be flashes of class and ability but there won't be enough of them and they won't be quick enough.

Not for me this one. Heart says yes - how amazing that he would be coming home.
But based on his performances I've seen over the last 12 months, it'd do his own career and our club no good. If he did come, I'd get excited about the coming home bit and get fully behind him and hope he produces what he has shown for most of his career. The cynic in me thinks that his best days are long gone.

Yeah , so he can teach em to smoke , drink, grab grannies , insult the fans and still earn a wedge. Oh , and keep any up and coming talented youth out of the team.

Who happens to be one of the best footballers the country has ever produced. And England's top goalscorer. And Manchester United's top goalscorer. And England's Captain. And an Evertonian.

I couldn't care less about the rest of the stuff to be blatantly honest.
