Transfer Rumour Wayne Rooney

You'd pick Mirallas over Rooney?
Yeah. I think that Mirallas is still a game changer or at the least can have an influence on the game for the next few years that Rooney, as I see it, would struggle to have. It seems to me that Rooney is a lot of coin for a limited future.

For me it really depends on the price of Rooney.

I'd personally easily have him over Mirallas in terms of his work rate (which would fit well in Koeman's system), goalscoring, and his general play.

If he was going to cost £15m and £100k pw I'd be all over it though. Even if it's two seasons of him it would be worth it.

Lets bring him back to ease his conscience. I don't hate the lad anymore but I would if he returned. Never seen any ex player treat Evertonians the way this kid did. Should never have been allowed to play in the big fellas testimonial let alone come back permanently now he's no longer wanted at united

Jose's comments about not standing in his way if he wanted to go to China were odd. Just the way he worded it was strange and somewhat a little disrespectful to a player that just broke a 40year old record. I think if an offer from China, the US or us came in and terms could be agreed United would bite your hand off.

Well he is behind Zlatan, Martial and Rashford in the pecking order. They have absolutely no need for Rooney anywhere near their squad, and nor should any ambitious club in England. Rooney isn't a role model, he's a money grabber who held United to ransom years ago and would do it again if he had the chance. I bet Jose can't wait to see the back of him.
