Transfer Rumour Wayne Rooney

Rooney will sign for Everton in the summer.

Does anyone know why he isn't playing for Man Utd currently?

I was thinking that a few days ago mate. Not sure if he's injured or just totally out of favour. I'm sure there's been a couple.of games where he hasn't even made the bench...but that might be down to injury

As far as Rooney not even making the Man.United match day squad; he's already gone as far Jose is concerned I think.
It's really up to Rooney where he goes next. Koeman wants him here, that is clear. If Coleen doesn't fancy the U.S. then he'll be here as soon as this season is over.

Cause he's old and crap. For those reasons I don't really see the point of having him here. I get the argument that he's a winner who could help change the mentality that so badly needs changing around the entire club but signing younger, hungrier players would have that effect too.

We don't need to starting using old bricks to build our new house.

Jose said he's got pain in both ankles.

I think he's had a word and Jose has said he's not gonna really play. So he's told him to do one.

It won't though and it's been our problem.

We can't attract top quality, and you take a risk over spending on potential that "maybe" will change our mentality.

Having a player who's won everything in the game with a few years left in him adds a lot.

Talking to lads in work last week and I was amazed by how much they wanted Rooney back. Anyone thinking this clearly hasn't watched him play for 18 months or is holding out for a miraculous transformation in Rooney's body which will allow him to play football at the top level again.

He can't even get himself into goalscoring positions anymore. We really should be steering clear.
