Transfer Rumour Wayne Rooney

It's blatantly obvious he's finished and has been on the decline for a while. He's been snapped on the booze until stupid o clock in the morning numerous times over the last few months and he's a washed up player.

Mourinho has known this and that's why he's been nowhere near the squad despite his "injury".

Staggered that there are still people who think he'd walk straight in to our line up and affect games in a positive way! Sick of the "He's better than what we've got" argument, and that's still debatable, but even if he is is that a reason to make him our top earner and bring him in?

What's wrong with actually letting those in charge earn their corn and do their scouting, and spend that money on a player who is MUCH better than what we've got AND significantly better than a washed up Rooney?

He won't come to sit on the bench so if we sign him he's starting next season. That depresses me.

Shadow of the player he once threatened to be.
Remember him playing against Bolton at Goodison when he was 16 and thinking 'he's going to be the best player in the world this lad'.
For all his records and trophies, he never quite lived up to that promise.
He's finished now tbh.

I remember that game. He ran Campo ragged
