Transfer Rumour Wayne Rooney

Hence the 'if'.

Regardless of rivalry, I think anyone who signs Rooney will be getting ripped off. He hasn't looked after himself and he looks physically shot. A few years ago he was an angry snarling beast who put the fear of god into defenders. These days he's more like a slightly vexed Teletubby, waddling up and down, sweating on people and occasionally berating the ref when he doesn't get a decision. Anyone signing him will also have to factor in the amount of red and yellow cards he will be picking up now he's no longer an England player and no longer a united player. He gets away with murder at the moment, that will stop the moment he leaves Old Trafford and stops being an England regular.

But if Martinez wasn't here we probably wouldn't have bought him.

Rumours of Eto not liking Martinez are just unsubstantiated rumours. We saved £6m in wages in the next 18 months by releasing him in January because if he had played 3 more games, he would have been due a 1 year contract extension and was on £80K a week. We didn't have Moshiri back then and Martinez was probably just glad to have had Eto for a while but they both agreed it was best for all parties he move.

Which could also be rumour.

He's a shadow of the player he was, would be a terrible signing for pretty much any team in the PL, assuming he'll be wanting paid at least 150k. All the evidence is that he's pretty much finished. I've seen him a fair few times in the past two seasons ans he's been consistently terrible.

So it was reported a few days back Mosh doesn't want him due to age and wages. Does this mean we will be shipping everyone out once they hit 31 (if he's on a free)? As Ronnie has publicly stated he wants him it was probably code for we are not paying you 150k.
Another thing I seen was about his MU wages. It was just a small remark at the end of stating his options but it said he could stay at MU as he would be on 300k NOW they are back in the CL. I wonder what he was getting paid this season and whether we could throw incentives into the deal as well. Not to the same extent obviously.

He's always been on 300k week on his current contract. And why should we throw incentives at him, he's not worth the money, thankfully mosh can see this
