There's a website that specialised in that

Putting debate want him or not aside suppose Sandro comes, gyl s replaces Ross and we buy a replacement for Rom would we still go for Wayne?

I believe that is the strength in depth we need but puts the likes of Kevin Calvert Lewin Bolasie and Lookman well down the pecking order

If we didn't sign Rooney we would still need another top striker imo and I don't think it would affect the likes of DCL and Lookman. We will have such a busy schedule ( all being well ) that everyone will get a go. Bolasie won't be back until Christmas then I'd expect it to take him another 6-8 weeks to find that sharpness and confidence in pushing his body again.

Rooney is Manchester United's and England's greatest ever goal-scorer. DCL is completely different, good finisher but no Lukaku. Lookman could learn from Rooney that's for sure. Lukaku is proven and we need someone proven to replace him. There aren't many Lukaku types out there. Bas Dost to name one prolific striker would cost £40m and is 28. There are good young strikers but they would need time to adjust and might not produce the goods. Rooney is one of who is available and he's an Evertonian to boot and he produces the goods. He would be pro-Koeman, pro-everton and influence the squad and new signings like Pickford and Klaassen would be extra-motivated because of the Rooney factor and all he's won. Saying to Sandro this weekend just gone that Rooney is coming to Everton, might swing him into saying yes rather than no. Ronaldo is 33 in February, age shouldn't be a factor in Evertonian's thinking, when Rooney is only 31.

Ronaldo at 33 is fitter than Rooney was at 28
