Transfer Rumour Wayne Rooney

I would have said so a few weeks back. But if Liverpool are said to be holding out for £87M for Coutinho from PSG then we have to be looking at squeezing mid-£90M range out of United for a proven PL scorer.

which we may well do with add ons.

Let's see until the deal is complete.

Also, the PSG interest in Coutinho is bullcrap. There's nothing in it. Liverpool aren't holding out for anything as Coutinho isn't for sale/doesn't want to leave.

Rom, ultimately, wants to leave. If he didn't we wouldn't even be entering talks with clubs.

I'm just saying: if Lukaku goes there for £75M or even £85M you'd have to say the Rooney return is the sweetener in that...although many wont see it as a sweetener.
Dave, Bill wants a part of our transfer dealings, and wants his boy back at any cost.
Let's hope the Lukaku add-ons are not related to C/L or P/L titles.

The going rate has gone up though. That's the point.

No doubt Bill will show his face. Only see him at the good times, when things aren't going well he disappears.

Hopefully he is too shamefaced about the original Rooney debacle to show his face.

He won everything with United when SAF was the manager. he was never the same player since Ferguson retired, obviously the man had a major influence on him, so who knows, coming back here might mean he be exactly what he needed, a new challenge!
