As much as I defend Koeman all along. His decision to see Rooney as starter and play DCL on the flank are shocking decisions. 8 games 8 points. No sure how long will this last for him.

Spot on. If THIS Wayne Rooney ( Not Euro 2004 Wayne Rooney) is supposedly our most important and best player than we're in a lot of trouble. He's a detriment to the starting 11, and is one of the reasons we've potentially wasted the season with this experiment in nostalgia.

That's wrong because it's either him or Sigurdsson not both. Everything seems to be slow and static up front.

The manager had £150mill to spend on top of having Rooney in the squad.

If he'd bought well, maybe we wouldn't have to rely on him.

As none of the signings are playing near his level, he plays, he starts, and everyone else has to step up.
