Incredible talent, incredible career. The people who make out he’s been some sort of let down are, quite honestly, idiots of the highest order.

Yep, I'll put my hand up to that. Thought we could've used the funds elsewhere...not that there was anywhere else to spend it as it turns out...but he's getting on with it. Not at his former glory, but good enough on occasion.

People will only recognise what a great player he is when he finishes playing. As you say, hes been at the top for 15 years, yet still not appreciated.

Similar to the pub in Hull I was watching the derby. When they scored there was cheering but when we scored the roof nearly came of the place.

Allardyce is right when he says that he can't understand why we couldn't defend before he came. Rooney has always given his all but he looks revitalised and got an extra spring in his step.
