Sigurdsson has shown what he can do in his position and he almost singlehandedly saved a team from relegation last season. What has Rooney done since 2012? United fans wanted him out.

But can't play in that position like he did for Swansea like he did for us.

Didn't think it was a wise move because as has been pointed out why would Utd let a player go who is anyways good ? The wages are ridiculous and I naively thought as he is coming "home" he would not be that arsed about a huge wage, should of known they are all greedy feckers. Said to a few RS mates - I suppose trying to justify the signing that - "He would be an inspiration to our youngsters", oh how they laughed when he was done pissed driving a car with a slapper whilst pregnant wife was at home just weeks after signing. Jesus we are a mess with transfers.

When the play was not going in our way he stopped running. He just does not have the legs to be a CM. He gave away a pen needlessly and if he stayed on the pitch we would have lost today. Better stay on the bench as an impact sub.

He nearly handed over the 7th place trophy to Leicester, single-handedly. Terrible second half.
