Coming up through our academy is not how you become an Everton legend. Playing and performing for the club and its supporters for years and showing tons of passion for the badge is. In other words, someone like Coleman is a waaaay bigger player in our history than Rooney. When PSG and Bayern came calling a couple of seasons ago, Coleman kept his head down and focused on his football. Rooney left asap and has over his carrer cost Everton more points by scoring on us than he earned by scoring for us. Him coming back after sucking too much to make the manu bech does not in any way make him a great either.
By your logic, our academy is legendary for having produced one of uniteds best ever players, but how did that help Everton?

He is not and never will be an Everton great. He is a manc legend, and always will be, no amount of nostalgia can change that.

he is winding you up mate, same posts throughout this thread...

bevvied in a Lambo with two lappies?
Oh if you were given £300k to spend in a week like a footballer Bry, I'd have no doubt in you spending it.
Would turn into the movie Brewsters millions by Saturday like, and no doubt a helicopter incident at some point.

Our Director of Football and current manager called him an Everton legend just two days ago.

He is an Everton legend.

That is the problem really.
There is a lot that he could contribute to the squad and to the club in general but we simply cannot afford to pay somebody nearly 10m a year to sit on a bench and help coach and mentor the younger players.
How about to score 15+ goals a season plus some assists playing in a forward position? Only 7 players in the league achieved that last season.

Indeed.

£300k a week and you get nicked, bevvied in a mini with a minger.

Give one of us normal lids £300k for a week and watch how its done properly.

Very poor taste in women given that he is a multi multi millionaire.

Obviously likes a bit of rough does our Wayne. Probably craving a bit of normality to keep himself grounded lol
