agree was sat behind he won a lot of headers especially in the first half against a big stoke team, we dealt with the set pieces well.

If/when we finally defrost the iceman, his link up play with Rooney will be a potent weapon.

His movement off the ball for his goal was brilliant. His little nudge in the defenders back put him off his stride, allowing him to get in the box unmarked. Up like a salmon and bang, 1 nil.

We need to find a way to play with him behind the striker and not as the striker. If Sandro is the type of striker he look like he is gonna be, the type who makes the sneaky little spin runs off defenders and runs on to through ball like Hernandez used to for Utd, then it will be Rooney who will be making those passes from behind. He is wasted as a main striker.

i got goosebumps when he scored. doesnt happen often. his face on the picture when he scored should show everyone how much he wants it.
