That said, he's been a lot better than i feared.
...I really like the fact that the likes of Wayne Rooney and David Beckham never took the easy option of retiring from international football. Too many players with many appearances for their country know when the writing is on the wall and 'retire' before they are dropped to save face.

Yesterday was fully a glad to have him here day! I havent watched shed loads of Man Utd over the past couple of years, but it must of been a while since Rooney worked that hard and the majority of the stuff he tried paid off
