We need the run-in atmosphere from last season for the Wolves game

Leicester was a prime example, the team were off the back of a good home win and decent away draw and the atmosphere was just completely flat even though we made a bright enough start.

The players shouldn’t need the fans to inspire performances but if it can get us 3 points and get some confidence back in the players then why wouldn’t we want to do it.

90% of the time, it is up to the players on the pitch to engender a positive and loud reaction from the fans.

The Everton crowd went proactive towards the end of last season, and it worked.

If structural and ideological changes do not take place at EFC, one season our 'luck' will run out.

I think the players have become too comfortable with producing very little. While it looked like a great atmosphere while the team arrived at Goodison and inside the ground in the run in to last season, the team just did n`t seem to rise to the occasion and sort of just fumbled across the line to stay up.
The negative reaction from the crowd to the defeat v Bournemouth might be the wake up call the team need to wake up to the fact that we are sick to death of seeing the club go back to where we were in the early 90s. When they look up for it the crowd will get behind them better than anywhere else, but if they look like they are n`t bothered they should get the negative response that they deserve.

We're in a relegation fight now, no doubt about it, so we need that bear pit atmosphere we had at the end of last season

No bet wetter jibes, no complacency, no turning on one another

Let's all get on the same page and let's get behind the team
We will get behind the team Boxing Day.

But in FL heart he knows hes messed up, NO QUALITY FORWARD LINE.Gambled on DCL, Rondon improving , Dwight being better, Maupey.
Team ,fans know we got hardly any chance of scoring 1,let alone two.

Iam praying we win , City ,Brighton as well. But logic, sense says draw at best, might fluke a win.

DCL fit enough to play???His leaping was a joke if you know what to look for.
He wouldnt and on one leg????
He looked stupid, timing way out,Sunday League.Fear of injury, run around.

Imagine .

AG, Murdryk, Moise Kean, Demari Gray.

Bench.
DCL fit fighting to get minutes, D Mc Neil, Maupey ,Tom Cannon.

Thats the sort of forward line that takes pressure off midfield, defence. It gives confidence to us, fear in opposition.

Sell to raise cash, horse trade Juve, Max Allegri, Mancini.

Fingers crossed the Manager understands we need this sort of Forward line. Not no hopers.

This is all well and good, but it guarantees we go down, even if the players don't fully deserve it we have to be positive, we have to encourage, we have too play our part, if we don't we are just as guilty.

Some pundit ex player wrote a while back that the obscenely large pay for footballers shattered the previously shared "we're all in it together" feelings between players and fans of a club, which existed a long time ago when the incomes of players and fans were not massively different. So when players on, say 50 grand per week appear to lack effort, the response from fans has become poisonous, and rightly so.

I’ve got no more energy to bail this board out again.
The board that sanctioned multiple signings, brought in a fan favorite manager, and a DoF with prem experience? That the board you’re complaining about? The issues this season don’t lie with the board and the group of players is the highest quality group the club has had in decades. The team is playing well below the sum of its parts and that usually leads to one conclusion.

Not right so, but naturally so.
It's understandable, it's a natural reaction, but it's not a right one. Ask yourself why as fans do we not want too play our part in getting this side over the line?
If a player isn't making an effort that shouldn't mean we should give up too, don't forget they are only passing through, for us it's a life time commitment, for better or worse.

I agree with everything you said. But the disappointment can be crushing at the time hence the booing and abuse by some at the end. Come the next game and we start all over again living in hope.

Is that you Bill?

I agree the fans have a part to play in getting behind the team, and they`ve been doing that for years without getting the response from the team that would be hoped for. The problem I have with the players is the way they got so worked up with how the away crowd reacted after the Bournemouth game on Saturday. It seemed to me that they expected a standing ovation for getting spanked by a team most others expect to beat every week! Do they even realize how bad that result was for us?
It would have been good to have one more game to see what way the team react to such a bad result.
