We need to talk about England fans.

Should England be banned from a tournament or two?

Aye he’s threw Everton under the bus for England there. Wow.
Sounds like you are calling for reinforcements rather than discussing the points mate. Ironically, a populist tactic.
Thought you were trying to have a serious debate but it’s clearly a “I hate England” agenda running through it. Fair enough.

“Dozens of England fans took to Twitter!!”….. how about you don’t give them the attention they seek and that is embedding their tweets into your horrible online reports!?.

Mate I’m sorry but I’ve been as polite as I can in telling you that it’s futile to try debate, reason with you over England. It’s not your fault your in a bubble. Also, I don’t need back up but I’m choosing to be decent and not goad you into rage on here.

my “bubble” / view- England fans behaviour is poor. It reflects behaviour in football fans in grounds up and down the country with less of a spotlight on them - including our own.
Your view - England fan behaviour is poor, I don’t like the England national team anyway, we should ban the English national team. Don’t you dare point our clubs faults out.

Said it before, football has a culture that allows nationalism to thrive. If you support a team you are expected to hate their rivals, highlight every problem with their rivals and defend your own team, ignore indiscretion by your own team and fans. For example, literally no one cares about the human rights failing of their owner, but are quick to point oil money, russian mafia ect of their rivals.
Allowing a football culture where you can behave roudy, shout aggressively, swear openly, display open hate toward rival fans is clearly going to attract certain types. Most of us football fans engage in it some degree and we all have a marker in the sand about when it become unacceptable.
football allows people to act like [Poor language removed], in a manor that most would deem unacceptable in any other part of society. So no wonder it attracts antisocial behaviour because it left to a mob to define acceptable behaviour on any given day.
Good post.

Some Evertonians just hate scousers but what can you do friends.

Never met any Irish Blues that had anything but good words for citizens of Merseyside.

My own experiences in 40 years of travelling to GP have always been great. Just a couple have snotty cops who were probably RS.
