Reading a news report about a former student obsessed with his former professor. Now has a restraing order. Quite possibly has a serious mental health issue, but I did chuckle at this:

In one incident, in June 2020, Yeung invited his former lecturer to a marriage ceremony for the two of them.

The prosecutor told the court: "He booked a registry office and sent her an email inviting her to their wedding."

Can you imagine receiving that email? Poor woman, that's truly weird stuff.

Anyone got any weird behaviour stories to share?

She stood you up, didn’t she?

There is a girl I work with who got a cat from an orphanage, and gave it back two days later as she couldn't deal with the stress of looking after a cat

A month later, someone at works sister has terminal cancer so the person I work with emailed to ask if anyone wanted to have the cat. The girl took the cat and then gave it back two days later as she couldn't handle the 'stress' of looking after the cat (she said to the person 'its the most stressful thing I have done in my life)

This post destroyed my brain.

Is it one person adopting two separate cats for 2 days each.

We had a fella in on one of them steps to work programmes in an old workplace. He was very quiet, barely spoke, and seemed quite strange. At the end of his first day we were asked to show him the black taxi stop so he could go into town to make his way home. Tried to make conversation but it was like getting blood from a stone. He lagged a few feet behind us the whole way.

We walked that same way everyday so it became a thing that he followed behind us. 2 weeks later he was gone, the manager found him useless and he creeped her out.

Fast forward about a year and i randomly get a message on facebook from him asking how i was. Then he asked would i like to go to the cinema with him. I felt bad thinking he wanted a friend but still declined. When i declined he then began to tell me he was in love with me and used to walk behind me everyday so he could stare at my rear end.

Blocked his account and never heard of or seen him again thankfully.

Ah mate, can't believe you nixed that opportunity for a beautiful romance!

There was this secretary at work who had a whole blog which was pretty much dedicated to her and the lawyer she worked for, and it was about like fantasies of going to get coffees and going to Disneyland together lol

And then the lawyer found out and the secretary left

Also another workplace story. I was managing a youth centre and on my first night a guy randomly appears at the door and i answered. He sounded scandinavian, which was very out of the ordinary for the area i was working.

He said he wasnt from the area and needed to use the bathroom. I said that as much as i would like to help i couldnt let him into the building as the kids were here and it was a child protection risk so signposted him to the bar 100 feet away. He got quite irritated and said 'Ok so what i do now is your responsibility' and off he went.

5 minutes later the door raps and i look out and its the same guy with a small bag in hand which he is showing to me. He takes a few steps back and i open the door. He said you now need to dispose of this. He had took a dump on the street, found a bag and brought it to me. I told him where to go and he left the bag and vanished. Never to be seen again.

I had to log the report and call police due to risk of potential indecent exposure for kids outside the building. They had a right laugh when i told this story.
