Welcome Charlie Adam

Dave, I have no idea why you are against attempts at improving, in any way possible.

Also, I'm not defending anybody, I simply cannot figure out your stance beyond a personal, bigoted view of the individuals involved. All I am saying is that we cannot judge the decision to bring him in until we have some idea as to what the impact is of bringing him. If we had a catalogue of evidence which pointed in either direction of success or failure, then maybe you'd have a point.w

It is currently just as likely that he is a success as it is that he isn't. If he fails miserably, then he'll go, but a failure on his part is if he doesn't improve us, in which case we're no worse off are we.

I highly doubt that David Moyes is "Siphoning off" payments from the available budget for transfers, as he knows as well as anybody that if we don't get players in, it's his neck on the chopping block.

Anyway, I'm sure this is getting boring for everybody else. So, to end, I am of the opinion that we have brought in David Moyes to improve the fortunes of the team. Having specialised coaches looking at parts of our play may help that, it may not. But I'd rather we took the chance, because doing the same old [Poor language removed] under Dyche simply wasn't working. Which is probably why he bottled it and quit.
That's just not logical. How would that work in other businesses? People getting hired on spec?: "I dont know if this candidate is the right person for the job because he hasn't done the job we're hiring for before; but he might be so I'll hire him".

Utter nonsense.

Neither you or I are doing the hiring you wally.
The people doing the hiring are aware of his CV. That is exactly my point.

By Christ.

….i was totally surprised when he took it, I laughed after he’d taken it. On his overall performance, I wouldn’t criticise anybody after that team display of commitment.
He does not look a 17 million left back to me, though he started well - I think he is carrying an injury - DM has pointed out already our left back position is poor .... He's told Baines to work on him - that free kick was a joke as our his crosses - Alway mostly hits the first defender,,,, but hitting the corner flag :D
