It seems to be a trend of having everybody at corners starting in the same small area. I think the idea is to not give the defenders the chance to get close to the player they`re picking up, but it seems to hinder the attacking team just as much.

Welcome Charlie, not too fussed either way on this, hope he brings some success and routines, his job will be a lot more than just how to take set pieces.
