We'll be OK.......

Still a lot of the season left and we're not out of anything. Can still have a very good season. The result that hurt most was probably Spurs but 1 point out of City Chelsea and United away will be one more point than a lot of other teams will be getting. We just need to stop the rot and if we get back to anything like the form we showed back end of last season we'll start getting back up there. Everyone will have a dip this season, the media are just rejoicing that it's ours currently but these aren't bad players. In comparatively easier fixture lists the likes of Spurs Liverpool and Arsenal haven't even put that much distance on us.

After a good night's kip, the sun is out and life goes on.
For many of us we've been here before. Not saying it's going to get easy but with four games at home on the bounce, the opportunity once again is there to settle down. I just hope Sunderland don't get a first minute goal.

After the last couple of matches, and especially that dire lifeless performance in the Europa, it looked bad. Today, even with a 4-0 score line, we could see that we can play decent football and compete with the best. The result completely flatters Utd, and they know it. We will do OK now........

That 'performance' and I use the term very loosely was the result of a)Playing United and knowing they would be under the microscope to the Nth degree. b) the' Cry God for Harry (Catterick) Everton and St Domingo' rev up meeting in the week.
This might be as good as it gets.

The team still needs to gel propery. It's improving. We've been handed the toughest games from the start.

We have 4 home games in a row now, so there's time to get our feet on the ground and recoup. Coleman and Bolasie are due to return in a few months as well.

The part I'm worried about is Koeman and his lack of willingness to play youngsters. I hope they get some time vs S'land and Apollon.

100% with you pal.
Im exceptionally calm with this mess.
I have no doubt in my mind.
When we start to gel it will be brilliant.

Patience!

I'm feeling exactly the same I've been feeling last season when we were down at home to Leicester. I just knew we would come back.

It's on a larger scale now, but I know we will be right back at it in a couple of weeks, maybe even next week.

We have some seriously venomous people in our fan base.

I am as furious at some of our recent performances as most here, but some of the bile I've seen hurled at players and staff recently in various places is disgraceful.

It's funny some people blame Koeman's attitude for players like Barkley wanting to leave, I wonder sometimes if the reason isn't closer to home?

*braces for impact*
Barkley had a hell of a lot of support.

As did Lukaku for the most part.

Stones... not so much. All the bellends who made him.cry outside of football can never come to the game again thanks,

So frustrating - but we were always going to need a few games before the team start to gel. We've also played Chelsea, United and City away as well as Spurs. I know it aint great but we did look much better today. We're 4 or 5 points off where we want to be, start winning games now & we'll quickly climb the table. COYB
We've played loads of games and we don't look any closer to getting better.

Ok yesterday we had a bit of fight in us, after... wait for it... a crisis meeting... only to bend over and get spanked 4-0 by a team who barely had to try.

We took about a million passes just to enter their half of the pitch and were getting opened up for shots on goal in two!!!

The whole 'gel' thing is bs and you all know it. We are utterly toothless up front and we look crap top to bottom.

Better win our home games because he is absolutely clueless on the road. Not looking good no matter what way you look at it. Can't create, can't hardly get any shots off, don't score and can't win on the road, that's relegation stuff, we need to win at Goodison every game or this is going to be a long hard season. Martinez bad at the minute.
