7/7 and Lee Rigby not good enough to highlight the growing threat of radical Islam? OK MATE. Your pal Andram likes this.

Or Glorious Ganesh, oh Almighty Allah, oh Jesus, Mary and Joseph do you not see the blatant hypocrisy in your approach here?

You have a go at me for bringing the EDL into the discussion (even though you both share a set of goals and debating style) but then you go and try and use two horrific terrorist incidents as justification for your "hardline on Islam"?!

You couldn't make it up.

Utter scum those who dragged that lads name into their narrow twisted politics. They should hang their heads in shame...although they're all shameless anyway I suppose.

The former head of MI5, a lady who's name escapes me, recently did an interview stating that our security forces are now stretched to the absolute limit and it's only a matter of time before we miss more attacks like the ones we have seen recently.

We all know who that threat is from. Whether Sharia Law becomes commonplace or not it's highly likely British citizens will be murdered on their own streets.

Why is the threat growing? Because radicalised homegrown, and immigrant, Muslims are willing and able to attack the country in numbers like we haven't seen before.

Mate it is so much more complicated than that. I am not some soft arse on terrorism. I would support the death penalty tomorrow for Lee Rigby's killers and the 7/7 protagonists.

I believe anyone pushing hate and intolerance should go to jail and then be on a watch list for 10 years.

But to me all that has nothing to do with immigration and Islam as a religion. After Lee Rigby you couldn't find a single serious Muslim to defend that atrocity (aside from Internet idiots).

And just like the Irish you can't take a line on a whole nation because of a single group like the IRA. Look at Northern Ireland as to how that issue was resolved - via peaceful engagement

fear is a weapon that religion uses.It is also a weapon
that politicians use.400 years ago catholics and protestants
were battling each other in Britian and the world. Now only
small pockets of this continues in Britain.I believe most muslims
in this country want to live in peace as most Brits do,but of course
you have the young men wound up and prepared to
do anything for the "cause".Did'nt the troubles teach us anything.
Sharia law will never catch on in this country, there are too many
of us who will fight it and you don't have to be in the EDL to do that.
It would help though if we keep out of muslim countries instead of
trying to steal their oil.
